IFC Welcomes Global Trade Partners Meeting Milan 2016 Sponsors

November 20, 2015, Washington, D.C. — IFC is pleased to announce that Milan, Italy has been chosen to host IFC’s 7th Global Trade Partners Meeting from 16 – 18 February 2016 and registration is now open.

We are delighted that the Unicredit Group, IntesaSanPaolo, Commerzbank, UbiBanca, Kenya Commercial Bank, Deutsche Bank, Banco Galicia, Marsh Inc., and XL Catlin have already signed on to support its 2016 Global Trade Partners Meeting as event sponsors.

“The GTFP Milan 2016 conference will build on prior successes to deliver a unique networking experience, bringing together in one setting leading emerging-market and global firms” said Marco Brujis, Director of IFC’s Financial Institutions Group. “Commodity finance and trading companies will be better-represented than in past years, to provide a more diversified opportunity for participants to make valuable business connections.”

Now in its seventh season, the IFC Global Trade Partners Meeting (GTPM) is one of the few truly global conferences for bankers and corporates in the trade, commodity and value chain finance space.

The seventh GTPM conference, with the theme Thriving in Turbulent Times is being held 16-18 February 2016 at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in beautiful Milan, Italy. The event will gather senior banking professionals from emerging market and global financial institutions participating in IFC's Global Trade Finance Program, as well as IFC bank and corporate partners active in IFC’s various structured commodity finance, warehouse finance, value chain financing and other global trade platforms.

IFC's Global Trade Partners Meeting has grown to become a must-attend industry event for those interested in and working in trade and commodity finance. In 2014, a record 350 participants from 188 institutions in 56 countries joined the GTPM Lisbon for two days of lively discussions, business development, and cultural events.

Event registration is now open, and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Please contact Susanne Kavelaar (skavelaar@ifc.org) and Aleksey Nikiforovich (anikiforovich@ifc.org) if you are interested in joining the GTPM as a sponsor.
