We are already pleased to confirm the participation of Jean-Pierre Lacombe. Jean Pierre is IFC’s chief strategist based in Washington, DC, providing value added research on global markets and market dynamics, macroeconomic trends and geopolitical issues and their impact on emerging markets. He also helps IFC and its clients determine investment opportunities using cutting edge research analysis and insights. Prior to joining IFC, he spent 12 years working for Lehman Brothers and Barclays Bank in New York, Hong Kong, Sao Paulo and London. He has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Research from Cornell University and a degree in Finance from MIT.
Dimitris Tsitsiragos, Vice President, Global Client Services, leads IFC’s international investment operations and advisory services, which had a record year in 2015. He also oversees IFC’s client coverage group, which forges relationships with key private sector partners worldwide. A Greek national, Dimitris has extensive experience in a number of sectors—including manufacturing, services, and oil and gas. Dimitris led the first IFC financings in Central Asia and the Caspian, including Early Oil and BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline). He has served on the Board of Directors for both IDFC (India) and the Commercial Bank of Ceylon (Sri Lanka). He holds an MBA from George Washington University.
